Sand Clock — Timekeeper's Privacy Declaration
Last updated: June 2025
The sand clock measures time — not people. This declaration is our commitment to exactly that distinction: we track how long the game runs, not who is running it, and we never store anything personal.
What the sand carries
The sand carries nothing personal when it falls. No keeper's name, no daily schedule, no device measurement is recorded in the glass. You play and the sand runs through, leaving no individual trace.
Grain count (server logs)
Like a sundial noting only the arc of the sun, our servers may automatically log: browser type, device category, and an anonymised IP fragment. These grain counts confirm the clock is running. They count time, not people.
No surveillance glass
The Sand Clock encases no advertising sensors, no behavioural analytics instruments, and no third-party monitoring lenses in its glass. The measurement is private.
The illuminator (Google Fonts)
Our typefaces are rendered by Google Fonts. Your browser's connection to Google may include your IP. Their declaration covers what they do with that grain of data.
Young timekeepers
Sand Clock is a serene, beautiful game for all ages. No violent content, no gambling, no age restrictions. Every young timekeeper is welcome. We collect nothing from any player.
Declaration revision
If our grain of practice changes, this declaration will be updated and redated. Continued play after any revision is acceptance of the new terms.
